Sahar Hachem, MD was born in Lebanon. She received her medical degree in 2000 from Saint Joseph University of Beirut, Lebanon. She completed a three year Internal Medicine residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine - Wichita. Then she completed a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis.

Dr. Hachem is board certified in both internal medicine and endocrinology. She also is a certified clinical densitometrist (CCD) by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry and certified in thyroid ultrasound and fine needle aspiration biopsy by the American College of Endocrinology.

Dr. Hachem is member of The American Association of clinical endocrinologist, the Endocrine Society and the medical society of Sedgwick county.
